Korian figured it was only fair he divulge the reason for his going to Kaesstra. After all it was this kid's home, and it wasn't as though he was protecting secrets anymore, certainly not for the king. "Before the Saiyans ransack a world they look into it. There is actually a methodology to their madness, believe it or not. We would assess the wealth or people of a given planet and determine whether or not they could be of use. If not we typically left the world as it was. Those unfortunate races who were deemed helpful in some way... Well I'm sure you've been told what happens to them. We came to your world and found nothing of use. However, because we didn't recognize your language we took texts to decipher it, and program them into our scouters." Smiling Korian tapped his own scouter, "It's why we can speak now as we are." He wondered why T'charrl, if the prince of his people, wasn't aware of this. He did mention his mother coming to power, but even then it hadn't been all that long ago, so surely she'd have known what happened. Ah wells, nothing to get all fussed over. If they decided to keep the Saiyan's visit a secret then so be it, probably just as well. "So they've asked you along for your power? Interesting." That was at least one of the reasons anyways. Everyone had their own agenda for what they had done, and who was he to pry into others business. The Princes, no matter what terms they may be on currently, were on their side for certain. Anyone allied with them was okay as far as the rebels were concerned. Even Viral, who had caused quite the upstart back on Narbu, was by no means viewed as hostilely as before. "Yes, the Saiyans have been enslaving worlds. As of late though that's come to a crawl, thanks in part to our efforts. Other attacks seem to be sprouting up as well, their borders are gradually shrinking. It's only a matter of time until a truly decisive battle arises." Being the Saiyan he was of course the Commander couldn't help but feel excited at the prospect. The climax of a great struggle, an all out battle between the universe's strongest agents of war. He was confident they would triumph too, with momentum on their side lately. Looking back at T'charrl he smiled kindly, folding his hands behind his back. "Your people are safe, I assure you. Even if Yamate had some interest now your world is behind our lines, and we've ships in the vicinity. Would anyone attack your world you'd have a small group of seasoned soldiers coming to your aid instantly. Your worlds among many others can now enjoy peace as they deserve." Yumi didn't really think anyone would leave her behind here, or Viral either for that matter. She was just happy they had gotten here as quickly as they had, both she and the Beastman beside her desperately needed to rest. Watching as Takeshi came out to help them she almost handed Viral off, instead stopping when he refused the aid. Not that it surprised her terribly, albeit she did wonder what the look was for Takeshi. Biting her lip hesitantly she decided to give her friend what he wanted, easing her arm off of him and leaving him to his own devices. Taking the Saiyan's hand she stepped up into the ship, instantly going to the nearest object she could find and sitting her tired frame down on it. Exhaling happily at being off of her feet she leaned up against the wall, finding the dull rumbling soothing on her tired muscles. Turning her head slightly Yumi smiled in Shu's direction at seeing him, giving him a small wave. "Hello Shu... Did you come to help us get home too?" she asked wearily. Takeshi made sure that Yumi got inside perfectly fine, still wondering just why she was so completely exhausted. Once she had disappeared into the ship he turned his focus back unto Viral, looking at him and debating silently for a moment. He really should ask sooner than later, even if the Beastman didn't seem in a very good mood at the present. Exhaling softly he stepped forward, looking straight at Viral for a second. Then, with a small flush across his cheeks he placed his hands together in a polite gesture, bowing his head and closing his eyes. "Viral, I'd like for you to teach me swordsmanship.... If you would!" he said, a bit loudly and awkwardly at that. "I tried using it and I was terrible, I'll admit it. I need training, and you're very good with your weapon and all..." Takeshi lifted his head up, smiling sheepishly and keeping his hands folded together. "So... Please? And I don't mean right this instant obviously, just whenever you're-" The boy's pleading was abruptly cut short at a loud rumbling sound, the echoes of rocks rumbling downhill reverberating all around them. As the ground began to shake as well Takeshi looked around utterly confused, wondering if there might be an earthquake or something. When a loud, furious roar erupted in tandem with the rumbling however it was very obvious it wasn't just a tremor. Looking back at the ship for a moment then Viral for another Takeshi opted to see just what in the world was going on. Running over to the front of the ship he looked out across the canyon, his eyes widening when he spotted a massive green figure rising up from a heap of rubble. From where they were he could see it was quite beaten and bloodied, but very much alive, and angry. Boulders were tossed every which way as it freed itself, a few slamming into rock faces precariously close to where they were landed. This must be the thing that Yumi and Viral had been fighting. They'd done one hell of a number on it, yet it was still alive and very much looking ready to fight. With the state that their friends were in there wasn't a chance in hell they could finish the battle. Biting his lip in a debate Takeshi turned to the ship, slamming his fist on the cockpit to hopefully get Shu's attention. "Shu! We've got some fighting to do!" he called, reaching over his shoulder and retrieving his sword. No big deal, they had to kill a really pissed off giant, how hard could that be?
