Scorn's attention snapped in the direction of Jacque's voice. A human so far out here? Scorn's guess was that this guy just happened to be around, which was unlikely, or he was a metahuman with abilities that made traveling easier. He didn't say anything, merely stood staring at Jacque. Scorn was assessing him, seeing if this person was innocent by Red Lantern standards or if he was just another individual in the universe who needed to be burned in the red light.

"What are you doing here?" Scorn asked.

(Hoy, Shade, I can't remember off the top of my head, but does Jacque actually kill people? Or does he simply rob 'em blind?)
