This is seen by outsiders as strange, or downright stupid. Due to its expansive wealth, many Antarin Lords also employ mercenary companies to bolster their own personal forces, and generally "look the other way" towards their employees actions, claiming plausible unaccountability as Mercenaries operate as individual entities. Many have attempted to sway Antari's mercenaries against them, but one common saying of Antari has held true throughout its entire history; "Wherever Antarins go, gold follows". Antari also has two separate Religious figureheads, The Elder Druid, a gender-neutral title given to the wisest of The Old Path's Clergy, and the Mayya, the High Priestess of the Diosaeans.
