Crash A grin spread across Crash’s face before he faked a step to the left fooling the unsuspecting student behind him he broke right spinning on the spot and jumping into the air, the light glinted off of his bare chest as he extended his arms up sending the basketball in his hands soaring towards the basket. He landed with a small thud, watching as the ball soared through the basket with a loud clang. The student threw him a grin of congratulations before holding his hand up for a high five.“Good game” Crash grinned, high fiving the guy...unable to leave him hanging. “Thanks, let me know when the next practice is” Crash told him, lifting a hand to rest on the back of his neck as he looked at another guy who was holding a bloody tissue to his nose, he narrowed his eyes at Crash. “Sorry...you may want to see Kiwi about that” Crash suggested as he stood up and left the basketball court with the other guys. Crash pulled a slight face as they left, spinning on his foot he jogged back over to the basketball picking it up, he dribbled it down the court before throwing it at the basket again, rinsing and repeating a few times. What a crazy first day yesterday was... He hadn’t been to any classes yet, surprisingly after last night he hadn’t felt like it. He stopped short of throwing the ball for a third time, instead throwing it from hand to hand, his mind wandering for a moment...Stop thinking and shoot He jumped up and released the ball but he knew as soon as the ball left his fingertips that the ball wasn’t going to strike home through the basket. Instead it bounced off the rim and pinged off in a random direction, Crash put a hand to his head grumbling to himself about not focusing before he moved in the direction the ball had bounced. Little Feather Little Feather was laid out on the grass, enjoying the sunshine that seemed to beat down from the sky relentlessly. Lion was laid beside her cleaning one of his large paws, a deep purr rumbling through his chest as he did so. “I could get used to this...no worries just blissful existence” Little feather announced. Lion looked at her but continued to lick his paw. Enjoy it whilst it lasts...you weren’t sent here to relax I’m afraid Lion grumbled, lifting his head and opening his maw in a huge yawn, his long canines flashing in the light as he did. Little Feather puffed out her cheeks and poked her tongue out at him childishly. “I thought this ‘school’ was about learning things, that’s what they told me...but all I saw was people hurting each other” Little Feather told Lion, dropping a feather on her face and blowing it gently so it floated above her. Lion’s nose wrinkled as he thought on what she had said. ...Yes...that was unexpected. But they did say it would be different here, I’m sure demons and dragons don’t start fighting each other at every school Lion answered her, his bright blue eyes focused on her as she occupied herself by blowing the feather up and down.
