Hopefully this psychology class will give some insight thought. He wanted to be a psychologist to help people as well as himself. War does terrible things to the mind and he felt he was coping with it rather well. Some people are not as resolute however and would need help. And that is why he chose this major. The human brain is a magnificent thing.
