Fire Manipulation. (Pyrokinesis).

Sarina has the ability to control the kinetic energy of atoms to generate, control/manipulate fire Allowing to throw fire, Send jets of flames at a target, Hurl fireballs or even possibly cause a rain of fire. It is also handy to illuminate a dark area. In essence Sarina can excite or speed up an object's atoms, increasing their thermal energy until they ignite, not necessarily objects, but also air particles. She can control and move the flames. 

She can at the moment release the fire from her hands with the potential in time to do so from her mouth for fire breath. She may be able to understand and control it enough for Pyrokinetic Combat like fire shield. Thanks to this amazing power and it's possible applications, Sarina has ended up with fireproof skin and thermal resistance something that is a life saver when playing with fire in the ways and possibilities this teen can.

Weaknesses - Despite all those pluses and hidden potential, There are other downsides that factor into her power and for one Control is extremely important. Unconscious use of this power can be catastrophic to herself and others, Water and in an oxygen depleted environment rendering her power useless. Sadly not much can be said for her if wearing non flame retardant clothes though as one of the downsides is if not careful can burn her clothes of, something of which is not a good thing. 

There are still instances of Sarina getting burned if she abuses the power much or loses to much control. Another weakness for Sarina is she does have a Fiery temper and can sometimes have a short fuse. This is another side effect of her power as it effects her personality and emotions. This gives her a little bit of unpredictability of outbursts.

Sarina stands at a height of 5 foot 7 inches and weighs 135lbs with a figure of 37-27-35, She is Latin American with long shoulder length black hair. Sarina prefers to wear her hair freely but may at times decide to tie it up into a ponytail. She has medium size nose, hands, and ears. She also has thin eyebrows, Dark crimson red eyes which once were brown and delicate average size lips. She has a toned olive skin colour with no tattoos or piercings with size 8 feet.[/hider]

BRIEF Bio - Sarina was very much a lovely girl to be around when she was younger, Born to american military man and a Latin mother whose worked in retail work. Life was busy Although her parents would prefer the more quiet and peaceful life, Sarina was the opposite always running around like young kids do, she was able to make friend pretty well and was full of life and smiles, Her parents loved her so dearly. During the early life for some reason she had a thing for Mistletoe, It was probably to do with the special times of Christmas one thing that most children enjoy more and parents mostly remember those magical moments.

Life was pretty normal for the family until a certain moment, Sarina was now at the age of 16, It was a pivotal changing moment in her life for it would never be the same again, While at a beach party with a load of her friends. During the night Sarina got into an argument with one of the other girls away from the group party in a hut, The drunken girl was convinced her boyfriend was having an affair with Sarina which of course was not true but during the heated argument it got physical and that was when her power flared up thus setting fire to the small hut they were in.

Unfortunately the flames spread quickly engulfing the girls but running on fear for her life the popular girl fought hard despite getting burned and was able to drag the jealous girlfriend out of the fire by time the first person managed to run over seeing her pulled the unconscious girl out the fire while others where getting buckets of water or anything they could use. Sarina's actions saved the girl who had severe burns over her body, But to the guys shock Sarina was only lightly burned despite her clothes severely burned and saw her dark crimson like eyes which would become a permanent feature of her mutation.

Sarina promptly ran away back home as she to knew that she should of got hurt more but it wasn't until she got home to get dresses and saw herself in the mirror that she realized her eyes. She was a mutant weather she could grasp it or not but her mind was going into overdrive and packed some clothes and ran away from home trying to get away from everything. Fortunately her mind was easy to pick up by Charles Xavier and cerebro which prompted a quick response to find the girl in need and sent Shadowcat to locate and bring Sarina in safely.

When she arrived at the institute, Sarina spent a while adjusting to her new environment and getting used to being with her own kind but it was a mostly positive transition, The young lass met some very interesting individuals whom all came from different walks of life and ended up at the same place. Once Sarina had settled in she trained hard mentally and physically in the danger room while furthering her education particularly in sports activities, Her first appearance in the danger room Sarina lost control of her power and ended up burning herself thus being sent to medical allowing another mutant Exilir to heal her small burns to improve his powers.

Even after this the danger room sessions were still the toughest in her mind as she often ended up burning her fellow mutants and more often than not setting of the fire sprinklers off to some people's amusement and frustration for others, Of course over the five years the fire maiden was there she would gain more control, understanding and better develop her powers showing great potential along with her hand to hand combat training, She picked up many friends and never let any kind of popularity get to her head. In her third year in the institute the school came under attack and was destroyed with many were injured, killed or captured by military forces, But in the panic many young children lost control of their powers that caused most of the devastation a bout week ago. Sarina only wished she could've helped them.

Notes - Sarina enjoys in her spare time ( out of classes.) performing fire and sparkle poi and fire hoop dancing or going to the gym to keep active because she enjoys it.

[b]Pyra - Sarina Saunders:[/b] I am pretty normal as a mutant can be I am not perfect and I am not afraid to admit that, My power is as hot as I am, well that's what a lot of the guys say but I won't let it get to my head. Sure I am beautiful and all but there is more to me than my looks, I look after my body, I believe in myself and confident in my abilities not just in power but as a person who is thankful of the friends and other mutants I have met. I am full of Spirit and that is something I won't let die.

[B]Bass - Caleb Idlett:[/B] Caleb is a really nice guy and pretty much happily talks and makes friends with anyone! A good friend of mine, We have got one well since being at the institute, He talks like a hamster on coffee though when you get him going. He is going out with Heidi, My closest friend which I find cute and i am happy for them both. I think he'll be a great boyfriend to her. -F

[B]Raiix - Shuya 'Steve' Denzan:[/B] Another very good friend of mine who makes it a bit obvious at times he wants it to be more, He is a nice guy, He was very much the shy guy originally but I broke through those barriers and since then has made some good friends, He is very protective of me though and does some of the funniest little things to make me laugh or smile and I tease him by calling him 'My little Asian'. His random fighting style is entertaining but he caught me on the wrong time of the month once and pissed me of, I burnt his eyebrows for it... What? he did get a lot of hugs out of it after. [Could potentially be a Romantic Interest] -F

[B]Elixir - Aaron 'X':[/B] Aaron is actually a nice guy even if we didn't really hit it of when we first came across each other a couple of years ago, However I do remember every time I went to infirmary after burning myself with my power that nurses called upon and allowed Aaron to use his abilities and heal me, He was kind and gentle to me. Ever since then we spoke more and became good friends, He still heals me from time to time and I enjoy his company, I feel he is still a little apprehensive with me over my powers though but we trust each other, He is the only guy I allow to physically touch me outside of a hug -F/L

[B]Prodigy - Heidi Williams:[/B] Heidi was my room-mate before everything happened, I still get the feeling we are from two separate ends of the spectrum however, Heidi is still a little shy and quiet while I was more confidant. We are the best of friends and look out for each other, I love her power as it might not hurt people physically but she can sure hurt an ego and look after herself and she now has a boyfriend! I have never been so happier for her, My bestie has come along way from we first met -F

[B]Scattershot - Jacob Jones:[/B] Jacob is a good honest guy from what can tell from the time I have seen and spoken to him over the few months, He is friendly enough though and I think he has good potential in the field -F

[b]Eye Spy - Jay Redmond:[/b] I am sure he is a okay guy and all, But I don't trust him. Ever since I found out about his ability, I have found it freaky I mean he can get a sneak peak of the girls anywhere ant any time regardless of what we are doing. Usually I am not worried of people looking at me as I am proud of my body but the fact he can invade my privacy by simply seeing through walls while I'm getting dressed or something and I would be none the wiser to him doing it is like I said freaky and I struggle to trust him on that basis but those abilities can come in handy out in the field if he can concentrate on the task at hand that it. -N/E

[b]Chimera - James Venture:[/b] James is a shape shifter who joined the institute a couple of years ago, We never really spoke that much and only really him in the danger room sessions, But he is good with musical instruments and have listened to him from time to time on a quite evening and it's clear he love his music, He usually dresses well also but that wont save you out in the field. From what I have seen despite the freakishness of his power that he can be a very good asset out in the field but we'll have to see. -N

[b]Animus - Zhayne Spencer:[/b] I have known Zhayne for almost the amount of time he as been with us, It took time to get round to talking with him but he is a very calm, relaxed man. We have become good friends despite the fact he is gay, I openly admitted I have no issues with it at all considering the fact I am bisexual and that as long as he is happy then that was the main thing. But despite being shy at times and has never shied away from battle and stuck with his team and help those that need it. I consider him to be a great friend and I respect him for openness about his thoughts on my powers -F

[b]Sage - Laurie (last name unknown):[/b] I have spoke to Laurie quite often in the three years she was here, some didn't always make sense mind you, it was unusual to see some one like her as a student but her gene activated late or something? I don't quite understand it. But I often feel very sorry for Laurie for the power that she has, she must be a strong willed individual to be able to cope and continue on being constantly seeing all possible futures at once or something and even attempt to make sense of it all, It is kind of a scary thought to know that when you approach to talk with her that she already knew you were coming and speaks first. -N

[b]Odin - John Smith:[/b] On one hand I feel sorry for this guy for the pain and constant problems he has to deal with on a day to day basis, You can see in his only good eye he has left that he as seen and been through a lot and for the a feel sorry for him. But on the other hand he was once part of friends of humanity who was very much anti mutant, So this guy was once at one point a mutant hater and sadly I am sorry if I sound harsh or a bitch but that is more than enough for me to not trust him, he has been on both side and is a mutant now, but the old man is going to have to earn my trust. Probably don't help I keep my distance and Don't speak to him but I have been bluntly honest about it. -E/N

[b]V for Vanquish - Jeanvieve "Vivi" Monceux:[/b] It took some time to talk with Vivi but my god was she worth the wait! We have long since become friends and i think we both enjoy each others company, I like her, After all us girl gotta stick together. But I tell you Vivi here had me as soon as she opened her mouth with her accent! I love her French accent and admitted it does send chills down my spine every time she talk to me and I can easily listen to her all day I noticed she has become a bit observant of her surroundings which is a good trait to have and she is protective friend at that, Plus she fight well in the danger room to which is good and I see great potential from her out in the field. I do enjoy it when we have our Pizza nights. -F/L
