Liam glanced out towards the Terrance. He let out a disgruntled groan and then stormed off. Father probably forgot their meeting altogether. It didn't really matter to Liam either way. He could be doing other things, like studying or practicing. A mischievous grin grew on his face. What about the sword room? Without missing a beat, he ran off towards the Sword Room, his robes flowing lightly behind him as he dashed about the palace. What he hadn't been expecting hit him the the face, and the chest and yeah. He fell to the floor with a loud thump. Looking up, he saw Troy, sitting across from him, his eyes closed in pain. "Crap! Prince! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you..." He blurted out, feeling foolish. He probably shouldn't have been running through the palace. He stood up and held out for the prince, wanting to help him up. "Are you hurt?" --- Lynn hit the bright red metal with her hammer, holding it steady with her other hand. She'd had a knack for metal work, her swords were Sleg's prized possessions. Or at least, that's what she'd been told. She couldn't see anything special about them, other than the fact that sometimes she would swear they had a soft purple glow to them. She blew a soft stream of air out of her mouth as she worked, whistling slightly. The demon next to her was working at his own station. Every few moments or so he would look over at her and the back at his own work, as if trying to copy her. They were all jealous of the fact that Sleg seemed to like her work more than the others. It wasn't like she was trying to be perfect, she just... tried. She let out a small sigh and then placed the metal back in the barrel of water, watching the steam. She liked working down here. She liked looking at the lights of the furnaces. It was as if they were alive and breathing, churning fire. She almost jumped when she felt a tap on her right shoulder. Turning, she saw the next person that was supposed to take her place. Had it already been that long? It hadn't felt like it. She blinked and looked down, not really wanting to leave. They rolled their eyes and pushed her out of the way with a small shove. She sighed and walked out, heading for the upper levels. Maybe she could ask to go out to the market today. She smiled and walked up to Sleg's room. She knocked, a small 'knock, knock, knock' before walking in. "Hey Sleg." She said with a small wave. "Lynn. What is it?" He said, a smile on his face as he turned to face her. "I was... wondering if I could take a trip to the market." She asked, walking over to sit on his bed. He let out a sigh and turned to face her. "I... I guess. Just take Ms. Maggie with you. I actually need some supplies and you're rather good at bartering." He told her and then turned back to get a piece of paper. He came back and wrote down the things he needed before handing them over to her. As she waited, she looked around Sleg's room. It was nice and walk, albeit a bit dark. She'd never liked the dark, preferring lit places. She didn't always need open air, but she need light, she needed warmth. The warmth of Sleg's hearth was burning against her back, almost soothingly. She smiled as Sleg handed her the paper. "I'll get these for you and be back shortly." She told him, running out the door. "Sure you will." He replied, out of range of her hearing. She ran, as fast as she could down to the bedrooms, looking for Ms. Maggie. "Maggie! Maggie!" She yelled, walking around briskly. "I'm here, child. Calm down. What is it?" Maggie replied, coming out from one of the supply rooms. "We need to go to the market to get supplies." Lynn explained, hardly able to keep still. "Okay. Let's get going then." Maggie replied with a small sigh as she walked towards the door. They walked up to the surface. Sleg's business was underneath his store, where slaves could be bought and sold. The attendant was still up there, sitting by the desk, looking quite bored. Lynn waved at him and he waved back lazily. It was then that a girl came through the wall. Lynn blinked, looking at her. she'd walked right through the solid wall. A demon? Shouldn't she be a slave...?
