He let out a small breath of relief and smiled, taking a seat across from the girl. She introduce herself as Kathy and the other guy as Crash. Eric smiled and nodded.

[b]"It's nice to meet you, Kathy and Crash. I'm Eric."[/b] He told them and placed her things on the table. He took a quick sip of his water and pulled a fry up to his mouth. [b]"How long have you guys been here? I just got here today. Missed the opening ceremony. Parent was ragging on me, yanno."[/b] He told them, chuckling. Of course, it was a lie. He hadn't seen his parents in a long time. Though, the old man did seem to give him a hard time before letting him leave. [b]"They never want you to leave."[/b] He continued, jokingly, a sort of sadness in his eyes.

He took a second to make sure his notepad was still in his back pocket before continuing to eat, pulling the burger up to his mouth. He took small bites, not wanting to seem rude but he [i]was[/i] hungry.
