Ya I was looking at the United States page and just noticed it.

Anyway So Boerd would you be ok with an independent Philippines. Basically the First Philippine Republic present simple terms to the Americans of allowing them to have a Marine base and naval bases in exchange if they would recognize the country as an independent nation.

Another one I had in mind was that the Philippines is still ruled by America but has control over its economic, political affairs including military (though they cant decide o foreign policy). Basically like a British dominion.
