Species
[center]Humans: 
Humans are a species of mammal scientifically known as Homo sapiens that have spread across the world for around 200,000 years. Their success relies heavily on intelligence unlike other previous dominate species like the dinosaurs or the ancestors of mammals, the synapsids who relied mainly on their biological weaponry. While the intelligence of humans is an advantage over other animals, they are considerably weaker in physical strength compared to other species of similar size and weight. While success of humans has often had negative influence to the natural world, other intelligent creatures like the crow have benefited and are often seen near cities and other urban areas.
Arahitogami: 
Arahitogami are humans who have become deities while still alive. Since they are both human and god, an arahitogami is not dependent on faith to maintain their existence; without it they will simply return to being a normal human. Many living gods originated as priestesses, who obtained faith from their gods' miracles being mistaken for their own.
Half-youkai: 
Half-youkai are beings who combine traits of both humans and youkai.
Hermits:
 Hermits are humans who have attained long life and otherworldly powers through spiritual training.
Celestials:
 Celestials are a more powerful type of hermit who live in Heaven, including both hermits who have earned a promotion and normal humans who have been transformed as a reward.
Lunarians:
 Lunarians are an advanced race living on the Moon, who fled the Earth long ago to avoid becoming tainted by the "impurity" of life and death. The Lunarians hiding in Gensokyo have identified themselves as humans rather than youkai. Lunarians possess abilities similar to hermits, and as long as they remain in their homeland they are untouched by age and sickness.
Youkai: 
Youkai is a term mostly associated with Japanese folk creatures and ghosts. The term can also apply broadly to anything that is a supernatural being or legend, from any culture. Because there are thousands of stories of magical beings around the world, the different types of youkai are endless. Alternatively, it is a common Japanese belief that after a certain amount of time, ordinary objects and animals gain life and personality, becoming a kind of youkai as well. In some cases even a normal human can become a youkai under the right conditions or vice versa.
Fairy:
 A fairy is a small, simple creature of magic that represents some aspect of nature. Many of them are also simple-minded. They tend to have short lives, but they will regenerate immediately after dying.
Oni:
 Oni are fabulous creatures from Japanese folklore, similar to Western demons or ogres. They're almost always depicted as beings with incredible strength and power; physically, two long horns are said to grow from their heads. The earliest folktales of oni generally described them as benevolent creatures able to ward off evil and punish the wicked, but over time, oni began to be seen as cruel, malevolent creatures, content only to destroy. "Oni" in Japanese is sometimes used non-literally to describe beings of similar cruelty, such as vampires.
Demon:
 Demon is a term commonly used to refer to malevolent supernatural beings in religious folklore and literature. In their typical pop culture depictions demons are strongly associated with magic, can be created or controlled, have the power to possess others, and may be fallen angels.
Vampire:
 Vampires are creatures from Western folklore that drink the blood of humans to survive. They possess a number of powerful abilities, including super-strength, super-speed, summoning demons, transforming into a swarm of bats, and regeneration. They also have a lot of weaknesses, including sunlight (which is why vampires are usually active at night) and flowing water (such as rain or a river). Similar but unrelated beings can be found in Asian folklore, such as the Jiang Shi.[/center][/hider]

Small Bio: As a child growing up, Neferata lived in the underworld as a human till she was around her 20's hiding from vampires and any other demons and youkai's. When she was found, she fell in love with a vampire and let him turn her to a vampire. More and more she stayed with him, the more she resented humans for making the "boarder." So, she found another human that was in the underworld, and killed her, making her a fake soul so she would roam the after earth.[/hider]
