Carmen was enjoying playing again. Music didn't have to be loud to be rewarding...she wondered if that DJ guy from last night realized that. She didn't notice Seven come up to her, being in the air and all, and was startled when he spoke. She made a quick glance around and then looked up to see the clown cat [s]cat clown[/s] floating above her. "Why hello there," she spoke, keeping her voice down but giving a small smile. "I think I recognize you from last night. You were talking with Little Feather's lion. ...Anyway, I'm playing quietly because I don't want to disturb the painter over there. it's meticulous work and they don't look to be disturbed...at least, painters I've met." As if on cue, the painter got up and walked over to them. He kneeled in front Carmen, which she thought was an odd gesture, but one she certainly appreciated nonetheless. "If you don't mind me disturbing you, could you give me your name?" he asked. Carmen smiled. "Forgive me, but I was trying not to disturb you as well! A painter should always have his space. My name is Carmen. It's nice to meet you, Leroy," she said as she shook his hand. "I was certainly at the party, and it was certainly gossip-worthy," she explained. "It basically went like this: I was over there [pointing to the front of the student center where the "stage" was] playing background music for the guests. More and more people started showing up and eventually a dragon boy picked up another student and slammed him through a table. It was so uncalled for. That's when it got ridiculous...a demon showed up, and I mean the full Hellspawn deal, not some skimpy half demon." She rolled her eyes at what she had just said. "Basically everyone got involved and the demon and dragon started fighting, eventually burning a hole in the floor and chasing each other through it." She paused. "Nothing was improving so I...put an end to it, basically by playing a really loud low note. It wasn't the most graceful of solutions, but it worked." She sat, pondering. "I'd imagine that should give you a good start to a painting," she commented, lightly chuckling.
