@Discontent: By previous research, I mean that he's studied the cultural/religious history of other countries/ethnicities in the past, which include the Native American thoughts regarding Two-Spirits. But yeah, derped up in regards to the assumption that he would already know. It would probably be something that could come up later in the RP then? For now, he'd probably just be another semi-regular at the bar, perhaps one that asks Alex straight-up why she'd be a bartender if her social skills were so sub-standard.
Sounds good. I think having people find out, instead of them knowing already, would be more interesting anyway. Anyway, Alex would more or less enjoy his enthusiasm, but not all the personal questions. Like with many others, she would try to be as amiable as possible, but I'm thinking he might put a strain on that at certain points. Should be fun.
-Alex Garnet: As they share a strong since of sarcasm, they would be a bit level headed around each other- or merciless, but probably in friendly bouts.
... share a strong sense of sarcasm? Level-headed? Merciless? Did you get Alex mistaken with a different character? It's the complete opposite. Alice Rems: Out of all the people in town, Alex would probably find Alice to be the most relatable. Note that 'relatable' does not necessarily mean that she likes her. Both considerably naïve, lacking in social skills -- but Alex would perceive the main difference between them being how Alex actively wants to change those flows, and is acutely aware of it's existence. Because of this, Alex doesn't like Alice, due to a subconscious feeling that she's looking at everything wrong with herself -- whether its true or not. She would probably be rather ashamed of this, and would hide her dislike as much as she can -- but her reactions to Alice would be filled with more stuttering and hesitations.
