No it's about three girls w h o have special stones that are magical and allow them to fight of the purple stuff that is killing of the magical creatures that live in this forest that the town wants to destroy and theirs a ferret who can talk... it's Avolon web of magic I think that's the first series I'm to lazy to check I have all of the books.
