While centered around hunting and vanquishing these forces, Ciercelt also facilitates the rehabilitation of them as well, though obviously less so than their former methods. Hidden behind the scenery of politics, religion, and the history of the world, they have for countless years preserved the knowledge of countless secrets strewn about the globe. Their soldiers are created from the sons and daughters of families associated with the organization, trained from birth to carry out the Ciercelt's deeds.[/i] The Ciercelt Trio are a group of three "sisters" all belonging to the Ciercelt Company, and having grown up in each other's presence, are quite connected and familiar with one another despite being of different lineages. All three attending common public high school before entering Athalia Academy, and thus are much moreso suited to non-supernatural company. Nevertheless, due to their training, they do not find it difficult to flourish on its campus. While their intentions seem as noble as any other student's, the Ciercelt Trio were sent to the academy to serve as sentinels for their faction; a great number of supernatural and dangerous beings are found within its walls, and thus the danger they present could make itself known at any time. Her skills in fighting them are well-suited all the same, able to go toe-to-toe with most supernatural entities she comes across, albeit with effort.[/*] [*]Lawmage - Avelynn's magical skills are focused on binding, immobilization, and prevention of attacks in the first place. She is capable of casting spells that cement targets to the ground or other surfaces, or ones that slow their movements. All of her skills are based on [i]order[/i], the prevention of violence and damage before it can occur. Lawmage spells are able to be averted if the target is willful enough, or simply physically strong.[/*] [*]Healer - Avelynn is also skilled in the reversal of physical and magical damage in allies, able to heal individuals at a pace much faster than common medical attention could achieve.[/*] [b]Weaknesses:[/b] [*]Unlike her attending sisters, Avelynn is much less adept at using physical weaponry, and is thus at a great disadvantage at closer ranges.[/*] [*]Lawmage spells are slow-moving, and thus easily dodged.[/*] [*]Magic relies on [i]mana[/i], which is the physical equivalent of stamina. The use of these weapons has required her to train her agility, leading to her being a cut above her sisters in terms of speed and nimbleness.[/*] [*]Teleportation - While not as skilled in magicry as her sister Avelynn, Valentine possesses an adeptness in utilizing transportation and portal magic, allowing her to traverse great distances quickly, or short ones in the blink of an eye. This ability is limited to her line of sight, and cannot be used consecutively without expending large amounts of mana she possesses.[/*] [b]Weaknesses:[/b] [*]What Valentine makes up in speed and deftness, she lacks in toughness. Wielding normally cumbersome and heavy weapons is but child's play to her, and she utilizes them as deftly as her sister Valentine uses a rapier. She does not tire in their use, seemingly inexhaustible and implacable in combat.[/*] [*]Body Mastery - Mary is immune to the effects of mind-control, haemokinesis, and telekinesis; she possess ultimate and full control over her body, down to the very cells in her body. This allows her to instigate faster regeneration of her body, though is by no means capable of shrugging off fatal wounds, or persisting after numerous grievous afflictions. At best, regeneration for her is twice as fast as that of a normal human's.[/*] [b]Weaknesses:[/b] [*]Focused entirely on her combat skills with the sword, Mary has forgone the study of magic, and thus is inept in its usage.[/*] [*]Due to her combat tactics, Mary is at an ironically disadvantageous state when in close-combat, to a degree. Her focus on offense leaves her defense lacking, making for an easily stricken target.[/*] [*]To actually use her regenerative powers effectively, Mary must first become inactive, essentially napping.
