A smile formed on her lips when he complimented her. She shrugged when he asked about her Jaeger pilot. "Um, i dont know about that really. Its unfortunate but, by tomorrow morning, all this would have just been like every other. When your protecting the world, you dont have time to mourn." she crossed her legs then and rubbed her chin. 

"I still need to assign you and Milo your Jaeger's. I already know which one he's suited for, but you..." 

She paused then and had a crazy idea. "Jack...why dont [i]you[/i] be my co-pilot?" she said. The feeling of replacing Leo was odd, though she felt it might be her best option right now.
