OOC: Hopefully I didn't over look someone talking to my character beyond where he was shown to his room. If I need to edit, just let me know. Josh naturally followed them as they all ran down the hall to watch as the senior pilots headed off to combat the threat. He stood the furthest away from everyone else. Partly because he was the new guy, unfamiliar to these people. This was also the first time he'd been in a control room before and it scared him, all the memories of his parents flooded back to him. He had to shake them of course, he refused to look weak in front of these guys. He scanned the room, the monitors, the chatter over the radio and absorbed it all. Getting accustomed to this life as quickly as possible was his goal. All his concentration broke though, once it looked bad for Iris and Leo. His heart sank, he was reliving his parents death all over again. He looked away, then to the floor. Clenching his fist. He kept his composure and remained silent. This wasn't the kind of first day he expected. He waited it out, up until he was taken to his room. There wasn't anything for him to do at the moment so he unpacked and tried to take his mind off what just happened. Josh finished some time later and sat on his bed, staring at the photo from his pocket. He knew in his heart that being a pilot was his destiny but his start to destiny was so discouraging. "Life's a bitch, isn't it?" he said out loud to the picture of his parents. He swallowed the lump in his throat and decided to wait until he was called upon.
