Katherin looked up when she heard a sound. She couldn't identify the sound if asked. But what ever the sound was caused her to look up. When she looked up she saw Austin falling practically on top of her. There was no time to move. He was going to hit her. But maybe she could lessen the impact on both of them. Quickly Katherin began building a pile of snow around her. Once she had a layer to cushion the blow Katherin focused her gaze on Austin's claws. If she could create a layer of ice around the claws maybe she wouldn't be hurt as badly when they collided.
