Iris nodded to Jack as he left. When he was gone, she changed out of her sweatpants and tank top. She looked at her left arm and noticed there were light burns where the arm hook up in the Jaeger had fried its design in her arm. Luckily that arm was covered shoulder to wrist in tattoos. With a frown she looked at her leg and noticed it there as well. She touched it and was thankful there was no pain. That was going to be hard to cover up. With a sigh she changed into a clean sports bra and a pair of shorts. She went to lay down on her bed and for a long time she tried to sleep. Her mind wouldn't let her. No matter how tierd she was, no matter how beat up she could be, if her mind wasent ready to sleep, she couldn't. With a sigh she peeled herself from her bed and walked out of her room. What was left lf those still awake mumbled apologies to her about Leo. With her anger subsided, she simply smiled and said thank you. Making her way to the gym, she started up a treadmill that was there amongst at least 20 others. Happy to be alone, she started doing the only thing she knew how. She worked. Her leg still had that tingly feeling but it wasent going to go away if she just left it alone. Setting it to nearly full speed she started running setting a 30 minute time. It was halfway through she wished she had food and water. Shaking off those urges, she kept running. She would stay here until she couldn't move anymore. And after she reached that point she would do push ups still. With that plan in her head she felt calm. Finally she control something in her life. Even if for a moment, she would be in control and do whatever she damn well pleased. --- The next morning she woke up sleeping on a bench in the training room. Rubbing her eyes she sat up and immediately thought about what work needed to be done today. Then her stomach made a nasty growling sound. "OK Iris. First thing's food." she said standing. And making her way to the Cafeteria.
