Elemmíre watched as he stood, the aura around him was a dark grey symbolising sadness and depression. The Acornia could see the aura’s of creatures which allowed them to sense their mood, it was an important ability as it allowed them to read their emotions and with their other abilities they were able to subtly influence their mood. So an Acornia dealing with an angry creature would release soothing waves which would eventually break down the anger, allowing them to be quietened. She did not try and affect his emotions for it was unwise and considered rude to do so to a old one like herself, she doubted it would have any effect anyway, the more complex the being the harder it was to influence them. However there was something she could do to help, moving forward with a slow grace she caught him gently by the wrist. Smiling reassuringly at him she gently pulled him closer to her. Even with her heels he was still a little taller than she was. Looking deeply into his eyes with her own fathomless lilac ones she implored him. “Please, just trust me for a moment.” Elemmíre could tell he was uncomfortable with the contact and the closeness but she could equally tell that he was withstanding a great pain inside. Going on tip toe she brought her forehead to rest on his, their hair blending, brown and silver. Again she began to hum softly, the star like marking on her forehead glowing dimly and becoming warm. Her song was only short and sweet as Elemmíre banished all physical pain from him. Joined as they were Elemmíre could feel the true depth of his sadness but what scared her the most was the empty cavern that was the loneliness inside him. She could not help it, who would not want to help one so damaged by loss and suffering, who would ignore that call, even if the one calling attempted to stifle his scream. Although it went against her principle she shattered off a small fragment of her own hope and allowed it into him. Elemmíre knew what it was like to feel so alone and lost. She buried the hope deep within him, it would not banish the darkness inside him but even the faintest star was bright in a void, and it might be enough to one day reawaken his own hope. Backing off to a respectful distance she scanned him quickly, he had a surprised look on his face as he grabbed at his now pain free forehead. He seemed none the wiser that anything else than his headache had been helped but with a smile when she observed his aura she could see a small bright fragment amongst the grey. “I hope that helped.” Elemmíre said head quirked again in question but eyes alive with bright warmth. “I would love some breakfast!” Elemmíre said but as he turned to head out of the library her brows contorted and pain flashed through her temples. That was the only problem with her curative powers, energy could not be destroyed but it could be moved from one place to another. So she had taken it upon herself and she had done so gladly for all she wished was to see a true smile on his face. Making sure her face showed no outward signs of pain Elemmíre followed the Doctor.
