Powers:*Scott projects beams of intense, red energy from his eyes. These beams have incredible concussive force, enough to rupture even the mightiest fortress wall if called for. In addition to varying the beam width, height, and intensity, Cyclops has demonstrated a high degree of skill and accuracy in manipulating his optic blast. Cyclops is able to reflect the beam off hard and shiny surfaces. This feat also demonstrates his intuitive sense of spatial geometry between objects. The reflective qualities of the beams allows him to bounce the beam off many different surfaces in rapid succession. The effective range of his optic beam is approximately 2,000 ft. It has been observed to be focused tight enough to punch a pin hole through a coin or drill through the trunk of a log.
*Cyclops seems to possess an uncanny sense of geometry, in this sense used to describe his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. Cyclops has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. This is commonly called a "banked shot" when applied to this talent. Cyclops has been observed causing beams to reflect from over a dozen surfaces in the course of one blast, and still hit his intended target accurately. It is his sense of superhumanly enhanced spatial awareness that allows him to perform these feats as well.

Pros: Since joining the Hex-Men, Doctore Xavier has taken a special interest in Scotts education. Not only has he trained him in matters military but he has also taught him subjects ranging from philosphy too statecraft, horsemanship too politics. 
Scott has a keen interest in strategy and tactics, and shows superlative leadership abilities. 
He is well versed in sailing due to his childhood.
His visor gives him the appearance of a blind man. He takes full advantage of this quirk when first meeting new people. 

Cons: Cyclops cannot turn his power off. Whenever he opens his eyes the beams fire, destroying anything in his line of sight. Doctore X has discovered a type of rubie crystal that can block contain the energy, and has fashioned a type of visor for Scott to wear. However this is not an ideal situation, and it is a handicap that has dogged Scott for his entire life

Vice: Has difficulties expressing his emotions.

Favored weapon: He carries an iron capped quarter staff. This lends to his deception of being a blindman. However when he knows the fighting will be hard he chooses a long sword.

Favored profession/Labor: If fate hadn't intervened then he very well could have become a sailor like his father. 

Brief bio: Scott was born the eldest of two sons into the Summer's shipping and trading company, a moderately successful merchant company operating out of London. It was a family owned business and all the family worked hard upon the boats. Life was good until the year of Scott's tenth birthday. The family were sailing the channel when they were unexpectedly attacked by an unidentified vessel. The Summers ship was quickly overcome and sunk.

Scott washed up on the French coast where he was found and rescued by a French fisherman. His family haven't been seen yet. When Scott awoke the tragedy continued. As soon as he opened his eyes his powers erupted with God's own fury. In the ensuing chaos half the village was destroyed, several people were killed and many more were injured. Scott quickly realised that if he closed his eyes then the destruction would end, but by then it was too late and the damage was done. Summer's fled the scene with his eyes shut against the world, not sure where he was going and not quite caring either. His young mind had suffered so much in so short a time that he was close to breaking point. 

It was in this fragile state that Xavier found him three days later, lost, cold and alone. Xavier offered him salvation when Scott needed it the most. He joined Xavier in returning to the chapel and has never looked back. Although he is still tormented by his past he has thrown himself into the life of a Hex-man, truly championing the Doctore's cause.
