X forced herself to cry out as she spun, claws gaining purchase on the floor through the expensive rug. "Ground him!" she called out to Aya, though she likely didn't need to. Discharge was a trained killer, just like her. She didn't have to read the girl's file, she could see it on her, smell it on her. Though, she hoped she had enough sense to simply stun the hovering strongman. X slid into a three-point stance before retracting one set of hand-claws, freeing her from the floor, and extending the other. With a renewed vigor she charged again, ensuring that he wouldn't be able to concentrate on both targets at the same time. The distance closed in a few seconds and with her forward momentum she rolled onto her hands, extending one of her talons as she slashed at him with her foot in a forward somersault. The instant that slash finished she would springboard off the ground into another dive, her hand-claws seeking the bite of metal-on-flesh. Of course she wouldn't go for a killing blow, but he wouldn't be able to maneuver as freely as she could in the hallway, not with a wingspan. The best she could hope to do was keep him busy for the moment though. --- Bloom laughed as the joke finished, though she hadn't really heard a word. She knew it to be a joke, but whisperings had caught her concentration. A smile flashed as Darkshadow undoubtedly made another biting remark about something or other, the woman's crass attitude just made Bloom want to know her better. Everyone had their reasons and their secrets. Not that she was interested in gossip, though...the plant life seemed to buzzing lightly. Leon entered as she filled the kettle up from a flash-heated water faucet, "'Ello, Fluffy. It most certainly is sushi...though, there seems to be a bit of a ruckus upstairs." She placed the tea bags in the kettle calmly, checking the time on the oven's clock before placing it lovingly on the heating pad. "It might be best if we went to break it up. The flowers are overly excited, you see." Fortunately enough for her, she had X-men to relay the news to. She could only imagine what kind of trouble would get the flowers buzzing in such a way.
