Linda was so taken back that she wanted to cry but decided that would be so totally childish. Instead she smiled sweetly as she opened the door. 
"I think that this is where we part, Detective Simmons. Keep me posted when you need information. Don't call between 8PM and 7AM and not all on Sundays or Saturdays." 
She gently closed the door behind her and began to walk away from the RV while she adjusted her purse. She then took out her cell phone and called up the bus schedule app and check for the time schedule for the stop ahead.
She didn't need to go with him or any other male. They are all alike and will always lash out such Detective Simmons just did. She would simply ignore his remarks since she was not officially on duty any longer today. She had everything done for the day except the license bureau and she was sure that HE could take care of that as well.

"Men are not humans........ i don't think that I will ever understand how they think or why they do what they do and when they do it......." she muttered to herself.
