Jack had nothing on John. At all! He was screwed in all senses of the word. Sure he should try and beat John solo. To prove he was better but his ego would be okay if Ben helped him. He had nothing and Ben had guns. Ben wins that one. Jack nodded and pointed to Ben as if to say your move.
