Elliot watched as Jacob lowered back to the floor. She was propped up on her elbows, staring at him. She pursed her lips, "You aren't wearing a wedding ring..., So we weren't married...we were dating." No memories were coming back to here. She couldn't fill any holes... There were no holes to fill... nothing was there. She remembered some things, how to walk, read, write, talk. But anything personal, how she learnt how to do those things were gone. She could remember how people showed affection for each other. How they kissed or hugged but she could not remember what that felt like or the emotion that drove the action. She sat up properly and looked at him, "When did we fall in love? Did we kiss lots? Do you want to again?"
