Dimitri slowly crept towards his quarry, freezing whenever the rabbit either looked up from its meal or swiveled its ears in his general direction. The b'alam tensed up, his muscles rippled under his fur in preparation for what would come next. In an instant Dimitri sprang forward, sailing through the air seemingly in slow motion before coming down hard five inches inches away from the rabbit. 'FUCK, I miscalculated the jump!' He hissed mentally as he swung out with his claws, sadly though his efforts were in vain as the rabbit took off for the forest halfway through Dimitri's swing. The b'alam growled in frustration and stood up rather than giving chase, "Well that was a waste of time..." he muttered before reverting back into his human form. Head hung low in disappointment for his botched hunt, Dimitri reclaimed and donned the articles of clothing he'd removed, and slipped back into the school for his next class.
