Purely out of interest what does Kalo think of human built aircraft? I'm guessing in universe powered flight is relatively new, only around for a hundred or so years outside of magical aircraft or balloons towed by winged beast-kin. I am just curious as to how our two characters will get along, and I think first impressions will likely be had when either one or both of them are in flight.

Also how widely known is the bit about a dragon's colours reflecting their magical affinity? Do they talk to outsiders about it?
