As soon as Mato mentioned the hallway, the carelessly casual upperclassman gave a derisive snort of laughter. "It's a lot harder to overhear something dangerous in a casual meeting in a crowded hallway than it is to overhear something while "accidentally" stumbling upon a pre-arranged private conference." He shrugged as she continued, making sure she had finished before he voiced the rest of his comment. "That being said, I'll bow to your preference here. Strictly speaking, I have nothing to do during the afternoon break, and I have no doubt I could get out of whatever class I need to if need be." There was a ponderous pause as the chessmaster let his words sink in, choosing to run a hand through his silky hair during the interim. After he felt that an appropriate time had past, the pale eyes peered forward into the younger girl's, making sure he had her full attention. "No need to set up a meeting point.
