I think Jack would want to be friends with Miri because he likes unusual and interesting things. About the *cough cough* other aspect of the question, I don't really know. He is a go with the flow type of guy and I don't think he would ever make a move.

Also i think Jack and Simon would be friendly with each other, they seem like they would get along :D.
