Stuff that they shouldn't be afraid of but embrace, to show how the dominated over the norms and were the next step in a new beginning for the world. Norms would go extinct only leaving conduits to rule. That was why Cole and Delsin were weak, they took pity on the norms when they should show how they dominated them, that the norms should show respect to conduits for they were what they could never be in this life, the next step in the chain. They needed to learn there place in society, that they were now only on this planet to serve them in a lower manner while the conduits would shape the world for them.
