Here I am! Also, to answer your question in the Interest Check, I may bring back a few people, but I'm thinking that we need a new headmaster, nurse, and a few new teachers. The grounds keeper is going to say though, if I ever remember his name.
Name/Nickname: Rygar Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 18 Weapons/Equipment/Armor: The Spiral Edge, which mostly consist of a right-handed gauntlet and a circular shield. The main weapon is the shield, which is attacked to an infinitely extending chain held inside the armored gauntlet. He can retract or extend the chain, allowing him to either pull the Spiral Edge back to him or himself to his shield. The Spiral Edge can be launched from the gauntlet at lethal force, and with mental cues Rygar can make the shield sprout five spinning blades, turning his shield into a buzzsaw at a moment's notice. Should the shield get stuck or become embedded into an enemy or object, Rygar can also make the Spiral Edge release a kinetic explosion, which will allow his shield to escape whatever it's stuck to while also blowing apart anything unfortunate enough to be near the point of the explosion. He can activate the explosion whenever he desires, and can even focus which direction the explosion comes from on his shield. Rygar also has armored boots and a left-handed gauntlet, though aside from being useful melee aids as well as armor, they don't have any other unique features. Rygar also has a super scooter called Sepulcher, in the event that he ever needs it. Which hopefully is rarely, because despite it's rather impressive appearance, it's more deadly than Rygar himself. May or may not be alive. Semblance: Rygar's Semblance is Friction, that is, he can use his Aura to increase or decrease the amount of force he's exerting onto a surface. He typically uses this ability position himself onto surfaces that he normally couldn't be at, like standing upside-down on a ceiling or even walking across water. He can exert his Friction to anything he's making contact with, such as his weapon and/or Vehicle. He can also apply it to others, but again only through physical contact with either him or something he touching directly. Hobbies: Rygar tends to be doing lots of odd jobs unrelated to his schooling. He does it for the lien mostly. He's also an avid baker, and such he can be seen making things like pies, crepes, cookies, and other little baked things. Every so often he'll also be doing street races with the Sepulcher. Lastly, and while he's trying very hard to stop, he'll sometimes be injecting himself with a powerful drug that increases his physical growth, though it will ultimately kill him in about ten years. Five if he doesn't stop. Bio: Rygar decided to become a Hunter as he grew up reading tales about them. As a young boy he always was somewhat scrawny, at least compared to other kids. His parent's attitude didn't help; since he was always so small, they tried to convince him to, basically, be a little bitch. And while he was certainly scrappy, he never let anything go. He always involved himself in business that he had no involvement in simply because he felt that he needed to do something about it. He got into a lot of trouble this way, but soon he began to be able to fight back. That is, after he took a unhealthy about of drugs. He worked with some shady people to get physical enhancing drugs in order to bulk up and grow more muscles, though all he's doing was cutting his life short. Around the age fifteen, while he was already part of a intermediate school training young hunters, his past as a druggie came back to haunt him. His former dealers were in hard, and they came to collect Rygar's dept to them. He had sworn off the stuff when he was screened into the school, so he refused to help them. But despite his protest, the drug dealers were determined, until eventually they overpowered him and kidnapped him, and gave him a choice: either he gave them the money they wanted, or they'll kill his friends and family one-by-one, and eventually get to him. He of course wanted to fight them, to punish them, but at the time he was still weak, even after taking all those drugs. He had no choice; to protect his loved ones, he did what they asked. And so he was involved in many illegal operations, mostly smuggling, but there were times were they pumped his systems full of the same drugs or swore off in order to get him ready for a big fight and to make him addicted to the stuff again. This went on for about three years, causing him to miss out on his chance to enter Beacon at the age seventeen. He only managed to escape when some Beacon operatives busted a drug running operation he was part of, and got him into rehab. Appearance: Post Sample: "Oi!" Before they would redirect their attention to the voice, Rygar flung the Spiral Edge at the biggest Ursa present. The blades where already deployed, and they suck into the Ursa's body, digging into it's flesh. Rygar retracted the chain, pulling his body towards the Ursa and subsequently, in the middle of the fight. The Ursa was as good as dead by the time he landed on it, but there was at least seven more to worry about. One Ursa even tried to get a swipe at him while Rygar was inbound, but all it got was a boot to the face. One Rygar was reunited with his shield, he took a look around and made a plan of action. "First I'll deal with the small ones!" While some of the other students were fighting off individual ursas, Rygar went after the smaller ones, the ones that would try to flank the other students. Though smaller, they weren't exactly easier to kill, but Rygar wasn't going to go easy on them. Flinging the Spiral Edge into the body of one Ursa, Rygar than began to run towards a tree. Using his semblance, he ran up the tree while the Spiral Edge was still inside the small Ursa. Once he reached a good enough height, he mustered as much strength as he found and swung the chain. With raw strength, he turned the small Ursa into a wrecking ball, slamming it into other small groups of Ursa. Eventually though the Spiral Edge managed to break loose, but all that meant was that Rygar needed another Ursa to kill. He grinned at the prospect and aimed his weapon at the next target.
