Korian had to admit, those aliens hadn't been the brightest bunch. For the reality of the situation to be what it was they were awfully silly. He couldn't well be blamed for that however, they couldn't have known if the threat was legitimate or not. Should they start to refuse requests for help simply because it seemed a tad odd then there well could be an actual disaster. Maybe it was being a bit overzealous, but he wasn't about to change how they did things anytime soon. By now he felt worked into a corner, and bringing up the creature only served to further dig the hole he was in. "You were preoccupied with work, I was going to tell you when I saw you, and I did," Korian replied, shirking back slightly. Hardly with any scientific knowledge of his own he scarcely understood what his Lieutenant had said, hardly having any idea what she was on about. "Of course it's unusual. How many creatures have we encountered that simply disappear when we slay them? None that come to mind, so it's very unusual." If they could find another one of those it would be best to examine the beast, if they could capture it. The animal had been moderately large, and they didn't exactly have cages just sitting on their ships for live animals. Korian almost left the matter be for now until he looked back at Sayomi, looking abashed as his face reddened. "I'm your commanding officer, Lieutenant. Don't talk to me like I'm your subordinate, or I'll... I'll..." There was very clearly a difference in how they as rebels and T'charrl were taught to fight. Leto could definitely sympathize with the boy though, his people were much in the same way when it came to warfare. However, now being so outclassed by so many fighters in the intergalactic scheme of things taking prisoners and making allies was much more helpful, and easier than trying to kill everyone. That and being able to forgive an enemy and make them a friend was truly something a man could do, which he was of course. In the midst of a flex he looked over at T'charrl when he spoke of people dying, straightening himself out and clearing his throat. "Some people deserve to die, this I'll agree on," Leto began, holding up a finger as he suddenly got quite serious. "Some people are too cruel or wicked to be given a second chance, I've seen this all too often myself. But many people in this war have no desire to be, they're forced under penalty of annihilation. If your people were forced to fight for the Saiyans would you want us to kill them, or give them a chance to atone?" Smiling cheerfully Leto walked over to the Kaesstrian, clasping him on his back and giving him a thumbs up. "We spare people and give them a chance because much of the time it isn't their choice to battle! No one should die for something they do not believe in, after all." It was a fairly pretty scene, seeing the waterfall pouring down and the rainbows forming as a result. Goodness knows they probably just frightened the hell out of every resident within a few kilometers, but at least they would be safe now. Both Takeshi and Shu were a little jubilant over the whole thing, having both beaten the monster and made something worthwhile in the end. Flashing his brother a smile the older boy nodded, chuckling lightly under his breath. "I'm really hungry too, and yeah, we did it. Both of us, you really came through there." This was going to be a well deserved meal when they got it, they had certainly earned it. Turning around Takeshi slowly began to fly off towards their friends, in no particular hurry to get back. Right now he was just pretty happy, having successfully fought with Shu and now getting to perhaps spend time with him was very nice. To Shu's question he shrugged his shoulders a bit, looking back at the crater before ahead again, spotting their ship rested a little ways away. "I have no clue, they might have nothing to do with each other," Takeshi mumbled, "But it would be nice if it does mean they're gone. The people here definitely can't fight those things." "I'm not the one that blew holes in it and nearly killed it. I hardly remember doing anything to it," Yumi retorted, smiling slightly. "And we nearly did kill it, there's no shame in not being able to finish it off. We made it easy for the boys, we did all the hard work. If it wasn't for us do you really think they would have won so easily and quickly?" She wanted Viral to realize that while they hadn't actually slain the monster they were every bit responsible for its demise as the brothers had been, maybe even more. Seeing as it had some pretty bad wounds it was a safe bet that it would have succumb to them and died soon enough anyways, so in that case all Shu and Takeshi did was expedite the process. Swiveling her chair around to completely face Viral she leaned across and smiled at him encouragingly, clasping her hands together in her lap. "You are not outdated. You've fought some really strong people lately and did pretty well against them, and now that you're healing you'll only do better." Yumi reached out, trying to turn Viral's seat to face her cheekily. "If you were irrelevant then would you be fighting with us? Or still strong enough to fight the same opponents we are? Winning isn't everything, and just being able to stand up to our enemies, even when you're hurt, says something about you. You don't give up, no matter how bleak things look. If you really have just given up hope then why would you be trying still? I think part of you knows you'll get better and you'll be right up there with everyone before you know it!"
