"...Yeah...Sure..." That was lie, of course. Levi was freakin' capital-S Scared. At least it was only two miles and not a huge stretch of map to go waltz through. He could take solace in that fact that meant the whole situation would be resolved relatively soon. Hopefully with a minimal amount of pants pissing on his part. And if David kept going on about that, Levi'd probably stuff a rag in the guy's mouth! While the light from the PIP-Boys were good and all, Levi couldn't help feel like he'd feel safer with them off. If only for the fact that, because there was light, it made for seeing anywhere that wasn't lit very, very hard indeed. Though, since there wasn't much to do other than put one foot in front of the other, Levi's mind began being a total ass and making him think again. Really, from all the possibilities filling his mind, mutant infested metros would be a fucking godsend in terms of the amount of relief it would give him. The enemy you know, and all that. After a few more minutes of dead silence and walking, Levi had to pose a question. "So, what exactly do you mean by 'fate worse than death'?"
