Kida and Koda ran through the halls. The first day of school and somehow, they were late already! "Darn it, Koda! We can't just show up late on our *huff* first day of class! That'll look bad for *haff* us later! We have to at least try to act innocent at the beginning!" 
Koda laughed as he ran. "I know, but I couldn't resist! Do you have any idea how many people will probably be using that courtyard later? *Hah* Besides, people get lost on the first day all the time. If anything, this is probably the one day we'll get a break!" 

Skidding to a stop in front of a certain door, the two dark-haired kids in matching black cat hoodies stood for a moment to catch their breath before opening it to walk into a classroom already filled with people. The teacher stood at the front of the room and there seemed to be a lot of discussion about whatever he had just said. The girl with blue accented hoodie, Kida, turned to the teacher quickly before going to find an open seat. "Sorry we're late. We had a bit of trouble getting here." The boy with the red accents, Koda, had already walked over to one of the last available seats by one of the walls, so she followed and sat in the chair in front of him.
