And if no changes are made, no brawn-based high tier is ever going to win a fight against another high-tier. I mean, look at Fury. Not only can he lift the max allowed, but he can get even more powerful by absorbing the energy of his enemies. Green's mech could just step on them. Beta's armor spell could duke it out toe to toe, and even without it she can do half a hundred other nasty things to them before they even get in range. How many active high tier characters are there right now? And how many would actually need adjusting if brawn-based characters are brought up to their level?
Honestly, I think you're right that some exceptions should be made to push the strength boundaries up to maybe 500-1000 tonnes maximum (the reason for this is simple, no character lower than intermediate could realistically survive even a slap at this strength if everyone went all-out, which you guys would, because you're not like General Freedom or Superman), but a limitation on this should be thus. In the case of Fury: His actual physical strength (that which he can sustain at a relatively normal rate) is only 10 tonnes, to push it to 100 tonnes he's using vast quantities of energy (because biologically it would be goddamn impossible) and that comes with its own limitations. Or, in the case of the giant mech, or even Khan's turtle, they're incredibly big and incredibly slow, making them easier to hit or easier to outrun. So if you want strength over one of these boundaries you can only have two of three traits. Fast/Small/High Endurance
