@Dead Cruiser: That is a great question, I think a simple answer would be no. A more in depth answer; all characters will be new to their powers, the powers can have come from anything from genetics, magics, items, and so on. Even with the rise of Super heroes they will be few and far between so not really an Xgene kind of thing. The major power origin thats a classic that isnt allowed is ~He's an alien!(Sorry Sups)~ Only real requirement is that up until the start of the rp they are human. So if you want to be a fish man you better be prepared to go through an extremely painful metamorphosis that leaves you gasping for water. Also I want everyone to be able to tell me where their powers come from, what weaknesses exist, and a defining moment in their life that binds them to the side of good.
