Sue
Connor picked up his bag; it had been an interesting lesson, being taught by a villain. But of course, Dr Connors seemed okay. Maybe it was just when he was in Lizard form that he was bad. He supposed that was possible. He shrugged his pack on, sliding his notes in them. Not that he needed them really. Still, it was best to have them. Maybe he could type them up, be nice, and send them to the other students. He would expand some things, explain, and make things nice and clear. Not everyone had his brain. And it might be nice to help without being asked. Or would people find it condescending of him? That he didn't think they could do things themselves? He ran his hands through his hair as he started out the classroom. He would do it, he thought. He very nearly ran into Sue, who was standing outside the classroom. "Oh, hi" he said, and then hesitated. He knew she could hear, but she seemed reluctant to speak, and after yesterday, he was very aware why. "You're Sue, right?" He then shifted, taking his hands out of his pocket; he let her know that he could sign. In fact, he knew Spanish, German, French, Latin and Greek, as well as sign language. He has a lot of spare time, and used it well. He gave her a smile.
She smiled in return, a big smile. She had hoped that he would be able to help her with her revision. There was a certain part which she did not understand. Science just really wasn’t a thing for her; she was more into the arts – fine arts, literature, and music, nothing too mechanical and systematic. She had been giving it a try for a long time now, and she hasn’t given up yet. Science was not going to defeat her. So, she opened up her notebook, put it in front of her face, and pointed at the question she wrote down.
