Actually, in the wiki, it states that the yin-yang release is the source of non-elemental techniques such as the Shadow Imitation Technique, or medical ninjutsu. Even Izanagi, an extremely powerful dojutsu technique that utilizes the Yin-Yang release, has an immense drawback. So it's not that god like, actually. :|
