Thaum?: Bugtanical Garden (Group C) It was a dilemma. The monsters were much too big to fight - and much too fast and numerous compared to the likes of Museo's guardian statues. Even Moira, the Pride's personal tank, hesitated with taking a shot. Once the leech let out a monstrous cry, and Don following up with his own, the crew was on the run again. As they ran, Trixie felt herself becoming dizzy; being dragged along like this was fun at first, but Don's turns and jerks and constant screaming as they fled was beginning to wear on her. But then she had an idea. "Hold your breaths!" she called out, before reaching into one of her pouches and chucking a round, jingling object directly at the ground. In an instant the group was enveloped in a puff of smoke. With the exceptionally diminutive size of the guilders' own items, the smoke released barely covered an area the size of a regular footstep. It was more than enough to shield the Pride if only for a moment. In order to slow Don down, Trixie leaned back and dug her heels into the dirt as he pulled her along. "Superbro, Superbro, stop for a second! Turn this way! Come on!" She veered him into running away from their main path and into one of the bushes at their side. Quickly she clasped her hand over his mouth as well - "Shh!" - as the rush of both grounded and aerial insects zoomed by, kicking aside the puff of smoke Trixie had summoned. They were effectively out of sight, hidden among the prickly throngs of a rose bush. Trixie found herself squeaking from injury, though she covered her own mouth with second hand as she struck an unnatural pose to avoid being pricked. (Don too was forced into a compromising position, as Trixie had pulled him over so she could cover his mouth.) Her eyes watered from utter discomfort. It wouldn't be long before they were found - sniffed out by another bug, even. Then they'd be on the run again. There was no way they could keep this up, but what else was there to do?
