Emilia watched Lann looking at the sweets store and a wide smile spread across her face when his face lit up and he answered: "You bet!" They headed for the shop and she blushed slightly as he held the door open for her like a gentleman. Once inside they both started looking around, taking in all the different kinds of sweets. She glanced at Lann, watching him happily sampling a few kinds as she looked around for her favourites as well, though she knew exactly which she liked best, since she'd already been in that shop a thousand times with Kat over the years, But it never got boring looking at all the colours, shapes and what she loved most was the sweet, always changing smell surrounding her as soon as she stepped from one display to another. She picked out a few different kinds of candies, some caramel, some fruity ones and some nougat, before turning around to see how Lann was doing the second he turned around to wave a familiar lollipop at her. "Emilia! Remember when we used to share this together?" he asked her, grinning. Her eyes went wide and she stepped close, reaching for the lollipop in his hands and taking a closer look at it. She had seen it a few times over the years and had always been close to getting it as well, but somehow, and it sounded stupid because it was just candy, she had never thought it felt right to get it. "I do." she finally answered Lann, her eyes shifting to his and holding them as pictures entered her head, of a young boy her age with that same hair and those same eyes and she suddenly felt like she had found something she had lost a long time ago. "It makes sense now.." she murmured to herself, because it did. It made sense now that they'd hit it off right away like that. That they felt so close and as if they'd known each other forever, even though they had supposedly just met for the first time yesterday. And it made sense that Emilia trusted him so much, enough to let him walk her home, to invite him in even though she had known they would be alone and even enough to lead him to her room in the complete darkness and having been reluctant to let him go. Or that she had kissed him, though on the cheek it was still something she had never dared to do like that before. Emilia cleared her throat at the memory of the slightly awkward, intimate moment in her room the night before and looked back at the lollipop candy. "I'll get this." she decided, a smile spreading on her face that then turned into a grin, that she directed at Lann. "We can share." she added with a wink, then turned to pay up, trying to hide the red in her cheeks a bit and that she still felt a bit confused at the sudden revelation. When the cashier had finished ringing her up and she had paid, she grabbed the little plastic back with her sweets and turned back around to Lann, scowling lightly as a thought came to mind. "How come we didn't remember earlier? Daniel and Kat didn't remember either, though I'm pretty sure they were there as well, at least sometimes." And what happened that seperated us so thuroughly? she added in her mind, but didn't really want to discuss that at that kind of place.
