"Well I bet he was quite annoying at points," Tony replied with a shrug. Thor was nice, a bit like a puppy at points, but Tony could see how he could be annoying. He could also see how he and Loki would have their fights. They were nothing like each other. Opposites in quite a few ways. And, if what Loki said was true, Thor had always been recognised more by Odin. Tony wasn't sure that he would have liked having a sibling. It had been hard enough getting his dads attention. Tony had gone to MIT and emerged with two masters four years later and Howard barely noticed. No, he hadn't got along that well with his dad. It had gone from trying to impress him to just plain out fighting with him. It had been an odd relationship, because they should have been able to bond over engineering. They hadn't. Tony could tell that Loki didn't want to talk about any of that stuff, so he didn't push. He wasn't sure he wanted to talk either. Loki had told Tony quite a lot more than Tony would have ever expected... About Odin and all that. Tony wasn't going to force him to talk if he didn't want to. Tony wasn't exactly talking about the fact he was kept up all night by nightmares and had pretty much been drinking himself into an early death since he was in his late teens, and still was. Nor about his own daddy issues. And anyway, Loki was ill. He probably didn't want to think about any of that stuff that would just make him feel worse. "You should enjoy it," Tony said, before pressing play. The voice of Galadriel filled the room (surround sound, oh yeah, making the movie experience all the better) as the back story of the ring and the original battle against middle earth began. Tony had sat back in his armchair, sitting mostly sprawled about it in a pretty relaxed and slouched position. If Pepper had been here she would have told him to sit up or something. But she wasn't. So he was free to sit in whatever position he wanted, even if it meant he was half lying with his legs straight and reasonably apart. But it was comfortable. He glanced at Loki occasionally as the movie was playing, to check that he was okay.
