What? That can't be right, the High Elf in Oblivion (Forgot his name) claims that the High Elves descended from the Alyeids and that he has more 'alyeid' blood than most other high elves or something doesn't he? That would only work if the High Elves were descended from the Alyeids, else the High elves wouldn't have 'Alyeid blood', it would be the other way around... That, or someone at Bethesda just wrote that quest and didn't bother go double check things.
