[url=http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/08/business/researchers-report-breakthrough-in-creating-artificial-genetic-code.html?ref=science&_r=0]I find this a little concerning.[/url] Something about inventing new building blocks of DNA, and effectively creating living organisms with DNA patterns completely alien to anything that could've naturally occurred on earth just doesn't sit right with me. 

But maybe I'm overreacting. What does everyone else think about this?
