Caroline shuddered once they were out of sight. "That was... That was horrible. I thought..." All of a sudden her arms were around Kyron, and her lips met his. When she pulled away she realized she was crying, and wiped the tears from her eyes. "That could have been any one of us. How can we live like this?" Finally she gave up trying to hold her tears back and buried her face in his chest, sobbing.
