Princess Annalise was walking down the shore of her small planet, brownish black hair swaying in the breeze as well as her red satin dress that was made in an almost American fashion. But the designs were more extravagant and the material was made lighter and felt like silk, but even softer. The beach was a beautiful one, full of green tress and aquamarine water. And behind all the trees stood a massive castle surrounded by mist, that had one way in and one way out. Princess Annalise was using this time to escape from the palace and her royal duties. "Oh where is some adventure?" She murmured, her eyes looking towards the bigger planet they were orbiting as well as a tinier one than the one they were on.

The Doctor was bored, he hadn't had anything interesting happen for awhile. Wanting something fun to do. The Doctor was flying his TARDIS to some planet that he had never been to before. It looked interesting. "Geronimo!" he shouted as he was off. He really never got bored of saying that. When the TARDIS landed on the planet , The Doctor walked out and looked around. The planet was quite beautiful . He seemed amazed by his surroundings as he was eating a jammy dodger. The Doctor wasn't aware anything was watching him, he just seemed excited to be somewhere he hadn't seen before. Out of excitement the Doctor began running and was looking around. He was smiling and seemed excited.

Annalise walked up behind the doctor, her white and black face seeming surprised as she tapped his shoulder. When he turned around she was shocked, never having seen someone like that before, except for humans, but they didn't come here since they didn't have the technology to. So he wouldn't be too shocked, she transformed into her human self, being a one inch shorter than him now. "What are you doing on my planet strange being? You do not wear the traditional clothes of my people and the humans do not have the technology to travel through time and space. I am Princess Annalise, but who and what are you?" She asked in a somewhat monotone voice but it was also full of life at the same time. She looked into his eyes with her blue ones, her red dress blowing in the cool breeze.

The Doctor was looking at her when she walked up behind him. He smiled a bit “Ah Hello, I’m the Doctor, I’m a Time Lord.” He was interested by the woman in front of him. He knew she was something that he hadn’t met before. “I was just traveling and came across your beautiful planet, I haven’t been here before so I got curious.” He knew his curiosity did sometimes get him into trouble. He really couldn’t help it.
He wondered what her name was and what she was. He wanted to know more about the planet he was on as well.

"A Time Lord? I thought Time Lords were extinct! Well, then again, at the rate our planet is dying, we'll have another whole species die, and the Careptors will cease to exist all together!" She said and started to look sad. But then she turned her eyes to his, seeing he was wondering about everything. "My name is Princess Annalise, next ruler of all the Careptors, since my mom and dad are the first. King Troy and Queen Helen would probably like to see you, so why don't you come with me to the palace?" She asked, her smile signaling she was happier now.

“Yeah… Last basically, so yes basically gone.” The Doctor sounded sad as he spoke. He hated talking about how he was the last one. Sometimes not focusing on the pain of the past was easier for him. He looked rather miserable.
The Doctor wished could change what happened , though he knew he couldn’t. Pushing aside his own pains he looked at her.
“Your planet is dying, is there anything I can do.” The Doctor said softly. He was following her back to 
see her parents.

"Only my parents have the authority to say things like that. I hope you don't mind, but I'm changing back to my original form." She said, her body becoming fuller and taller, becoming the body of a woman, and not a smaller girl. When they got to the castle it was already falling apart, Annalise knowing she only had a short amount of time to find her parents and get out of there. She dashed in, avoiding falling objects and pieces of the walls, quickly finding her mother trapped under a pillar while her father was laying dead on the floor with a golden spear through his heart from a nearby statue whose hand had cracked. She went over to her mother, seeing she was still alive, but not for long. "Mother, is there anything I can do?" She asked, her mother coughing and spitting up some blood before looking to the doctor. "Take my daughter and leave. I trust you with her life....." The Queen said before she died, Annalise crying out and holding her dead mother in her arms.

Magic

The Doctor followed her, things really didn’t seem to be at all going well on this planet. He scanned around with his sonic screwdriver as he walked. Yes it was most definitely dying. The Doctor wished he could save a dying planet. But he knew that was far out of his control as well. He saw her parents and he looked sad.
“I’m so sorry,” he told Annalise. He knee they did need to leave. He just hoped that she wasn’t too upset to leave.
“I will protect your daughter,” The Doctor promised the Queen. He wasn’t sure if she had heard that before she died.
“She is right, I must get you out of here, I doubt the planet has much longer.” He knew that from the readings.

"But my mother...... My father...... I must go..... Take me away, it was my mothers last wish, I must keep it." She said, starting to walk out of the castle at a slow pace. She didn't care right now about what happened to her, she was missing her mother and father so badly that she thought that her heart was going to break. But she knew she must go on, to keep her race alive.

Magic

“I Have lost my whole race, family and friends, So I know how you will be feeling right now.” He hoped his words were helping. “I wish I could do more, But If keeping you safe is their wish and is all I can do then I will.” He was leading her to the TARDIS. He had lost his planet too. So he knows that she will be feeling a lot of emotional pain.
He opened the doors and walked in.

She walked in beside him, eyes full of tears as she sat down in a corner and started to cry as they left the near-to-exploding-planet. She wanted to hear her moms voice again, and her fathers arms wrapping around her. She wanted to see her people who were most likely all dead due to the lava now spreading all over the planet. She held her ears in pain, the cries of hurt and sadness ringing in her ears. She could hear them all dying, but how?! She rocked herself back and forth with her knees pressed to her chest, holding her ears and letting the tears fall down her face like a waterfall.

The Doctor felt bad for her. He wished he could have done more. He knew that she would be very miserable. Having to go through what she was would be hard. The Doctor hadn’t wanted anybody to go through something similar to him.
“ I know it may not mean much now, But though you won’t forget, Its possible to move on even when things still hurt.”
He sits by her and hugged her to comfort her. “I wish I could do more, But losing a whole planet is tough… I should know.”

She cried into his chest, soon using all her tears up till she could cry no more. She then looked into his eyes with her bright blue ones and smiled a bit while sniffling. "Thank you for your comforting dear doctor. I know what Gallifrey was since I read about it in numerous books. I know what happened to it...... How did you survive?" She asked him, wiping her eyes with her ruby red dress.

The Doctor just held her as she cried. It had been awhile since he had talked about Gallifrey. He tried not to. It hurt and he tried to forget what he had done that day. He didn’t like focusing on it. It was his own fault they were gone. He wished he could have done it differently. But he knew that he had no other choice, it was his home, his people , or the rest of the universe. Which he wanted the rest of the universe safe.
“Because…. I am the one who ended the war and destroyed the planet… Even if I had to suffer that horrible choice, It was the only way to save the universe.”
