Seira gave up. Apparently the other Asylum was up to something or other and he zoned her out again. She sighed. Her eyes scanned the battlefield once again. Three Golems down. Two to go. The lady in the car didn’t need any help apparently. Then there was that weird masked ninja from earlier. He was out of it and his partner, well, it certainly looks like that mad woman from earlier could use some help. Being a supporting team is not easy especially you want to get back at someone. She did owe the knocked out Asylum a favor. Too bad he won’t be awake to see it. “I could use a hot chocolate sundae right now. A side of fries will be nice,” Seira muttered grumpily as her stomach growled a little. XCI cracked her knuckles. Time to get going again. That Golem is almost down. In fact it was melting which means the gem was vulnerable. She flexed her fingers a little and she felt the metal on Nami and Nagi respond. Looks like things are slowly returning back to normal. Alchemy would still be hard to use but it wasn’t too bad now that those three behemoths are down for good. The metal manipulator lowered herself. Hands in front and one leg stretched out behind. Then she took off sprinting towards the melting giant. Her mind began clouding over as the adrenaline levels in her body spiked again. Yeah no more distractions! Her fatigue and hunger were slowly receding from her consciousness. Leaping up the dangerously hot rocks she propelled herself upwards. Soon she was hovering overhead. She somersaulted backwards and began free falling. Nami and Nagi merged to form one huge chakram. Once she reached a suitable height she righted herself then she swung her arms back and tossed the metallic ring. Now to give things a little boost. “Spinning, spinning, spinning Dizzying wheel Spinning, spinning, spinning So fast you shatter rock with steel.” The disc whirled faster and faster. The light from the orb danced so erratically on moving surface that it was barely visible to the eye. There was not a single sound as the edge passed sank into the Golem’s head. Not that it mattered because the sound of a nearby explosion rendered Seira momentarily deaf. She turned to look at what caused it and completely ignoring what was happening before her. Sparks flew as the spinning chakram passed through the entire body like a hot knife cutting through butter. Soon it sliced the gem in half before stopping slightly below the torso. Turning back the Asylum smirked as the glowing gem sputtered momentarily before dying out. Pieces of dull fragments fell to the ground. The Golem crumbled. Exhausted the girl flopped herself on the ground her legs sprawled forward. Her micro-mini skirt flared out over her upper thighs. Just enough to appear modest to anyone looking her way. She held up her hand and the chakram returned to her. She wiggled her fingers as she admired the two rings. There was no way she can retrieve the bits of metal lost from Mercuri. She was too tired. She was very happy though. All Golems were down! Out of the corner of her eyes she saw Maeve. A stone pillar was boosting the Gothic woman up towards the orb. She watched with bated breath as the bone mistress’ hands touched the orb. Finally the game is over! She tried to throw herself backwards onto the sand. A strange sound made her sit up again. Wh-what was that...?
