Name: Daniel Yoshida Age: 19 Alias: Mute Shot Appearance: Abilities: -Kinetic Energy Charging and Redirection: Trent was born with the ability to alter the energy levels in inanimate objects and bring out their potential energy, which usually leads to an explosion. As of right now, He's only able to do it with small pebbles, creating a very small blast. He can "heat" the bullet he's firing up, thus making it pack more of a "punch", but that's about it. He can, however, alter the trajectory path of an object he's thrown (or in most cases, he's fired). Skills: Precision Marksmanship: Due to an enhanced vestibular and kinesthetic sense (The beginnings of Hyperkinesis and possibly perfect aim), among other things, Trent's accuracy and precision is drastically improved. As of now, his aim is uncannily better than most, though not perfect every time. He only needs to judge an aim for an instant to at least hit the target. A second or two allows him to almost perfectly strike the target. In tangent with this innate ability, environmental factors and obstructions (I.E. wind, smoke, plants obscuring moving targets, heat that distorts a targets image, gravity, etc) hinder him less than a normal person. His skills allow him to compensate somewhat for these distractions. He's also able to intently focus on his target and block out other stimuli surrounding better than most. The major drawback to this is that extreme stress severely hinders this ability. His aim is thrown off, and his balance, etc becomes something that is sub-par to even regular humans (I.E. he'll be clumsy and stumbling about, tripped up by the smallest of obstacles.) Enhanced Reflexes: Also a result of his enhanced brain areas, Trent's reflexes mirror that. He is able to react almost instantaneously to any stimuli, though only if he's focused. Things that take him by surprise or completely out of nowhere warrant a regular response. Because of this, he always tries to be aware of his surroundings. -Martial Arts: Especially in the times of today, his father and grandfather made it a point to make sure Daniel knew how to defend himself from an early age. -He is able to make many small, projectile objects weapons in his hands (rocks, knives, etc.) Personality Traits: Calm. Collected. Suave. Quiet. Critical. Intelligent. Vicious. Daniel is a very determined individual who won't let you know it. If your opponent knows you have drive, they'll try that much harder to squash it. Back Story: Born in the U.S. , Daniel was born to a Caucasian female named Lenore and his father Ao. Their union had to be secret at the time, as interracial relationships were something frowned upon by almost the entire world. Regardless, their love for each other burned more purely than most at the time. They cherished every fleeting moment, every eternal gaze and breath that held an infinity within a whisper. Shortly after they eloped and Daniel was born, Lenore and Ao were found out by her family. In a calculated sweep, they came down on Lenore, taking her back to her home in Missouri and beating Ao almost to death, until his father, who heard the commotion in his son's apartment across from his own, came in to the fray, gun in hand. Daniel and Ao learned a few years later that Lenore had been killed one night, a couple months after the incident for trying to escape her home in an effort to see them. Growing up without a mother hurt Daniel, but he had his aunt and grandmother to provide more than sufficient love. As he grew, he found himself naturally good at baseball, specifically as a pitcher. His friends were always jealous of his skipping stone abilities and he always seemed to be able to knock the cans off the fence when they were throwing rocks in the alleyway. It wasn't until he was 13 that his abilities started to develop more. While concentrating on an assignment, his mind wandered so much that the pencil he was holding began to feel hot in his hand, upon releasing the pencil that now seemed to hold a glow, it exploded on the desk, causing a startle to the entire class. After that day, things started to get worse. Daniel was unable to hold most objects for very long in the middle of the day, as they always seemed to heat up or explode. Driven to wearing gloves all day, Daniel began closing off from others. Until Professor Xavier came along.
