Ya and the fact they did nothing when the argonians butt assaulted morrowind, it seems the Empire will not likely get their support they want, maybe high rock if they can get they can get the bretons shit together. Hammerfell for one still remembers the Empires outright betrayal all to well, and while there are a few supporters who want to see Hammerfell join the Imperial fold. A vast majority, Temijen included want nothing to do with them. It's going to be a happy sunshine day in Oblivion before they aid the Empire.
