Absolutely. To address all the other questions I managed to see:

Fighting without a weapon is the current ideal, but we already seem to have a couple sword-wielding young ladies.
Setting aside Makoto's Featherfoot, no Battle Chip is owned. However, the ones in the main post are merely examples, and may already have owners that simply weren't revealed yet :P
