Collaboration between xAsunawolfx and Ghostshadow -------------- Marissa’s internal fire faced a downpour of rain by being told to stay among the numerous people of the room. The company of so many others was so comfort, so sweet, as if she had someone to hide behind if Lord Giles had suddenly combusted in flames. She appeared to be listening to the Lord’s bland tone and acknowledging him with a frown upon his request for tea, however, for half of it she was staring through the reflection of his shoes at Alexandre, oh how she!....She didn’t know how she felt about that boy! She waited for some time to fly by after the lord departed- suddenly, now the atmosphere was tense as she fumed to him “Oh course you don’t toy and play around, especially when I have not made you the player of the game. They…come in levels. That was the first.” She paused, opening her mouth to say something before it closed silently. In the spur of the moment, she rolled her green eyes as she pushed her bangs to the side, the look on her face would make it clear that this would be painful for her to say. “Thank you.” Alexandre kept his head bent down humbly as the Patriarch fumed at him. The Protector was nearly silent, letting the older Vampire have his moment to vent before offering a quiet, "Yes, my lord" at his command to release Dolf. He turned sharply to look at Marissa as she began her own little roasting turn. "I've no longer the time, nor the patience to deal with you today." He said, completely ignoring her thank-you, though whether it was intentional or simply unheard was not specified. He turned to look out the window, feeling the cool chill of night permeate his very being. This would be a good night. He moved into one of the mansion's numerous studies, sitting down at one of the ornate desks to write a letter. Though the hour was late and darkness had fallen, Alexandre's enhanced senses allowed him to see the parchment with ease without the need for a candle or lantern. He had gone through writing the normal formal protocol, establishing this as a formal document for the release of Mr. James Herrold Dolf from the RBUC headquarters upon receiving the letter. Alexandre signed his name at the bottom of the page before reaching to stamp on the formal Clan Desmodontinae seal of approval. Feeling his work was done, he closed the letter; keeping it held with a wax seal that also bore the Colony's sigil. He rose from the desk and stepped out into the main room, motioning for one of the numerous Blood Servants to come to him. He handed the young man the letter and gave him his instructions before sending him off in a hurry. “Don’t worry, I presume your ego will be back to normal by tomorrow.” Marissa calls out after him as if she wore a doctor curing him of his horrible disease, her fingernails would tap against her palms and eventually dig into the tender skin with a feeling she could not describe. Suddenly, she was reminded of the cup of tea she had to collect for Lord Giles. Did he plan to scold her more than he already had? Maybe the dungeon didn’t look so bad after all… About five minutes after Lord Giles had left, Marissa knocked at the door frame gently, waiting for a pause to come along his conversation with his adviser. Before her first step inside, the blood servant swallowed, forgetting to breathe as she carried a two empty cups of tea with a tea pot upon a fancy plate with red decorations. She found a table separating him and his company, placing the set upon that as she proceeded to pour them both steaming cups of tea- English black tea, without lemon, and a touch of cream. I hope he isn’t that one picky person who only takes perfected works. She thought as she wordlessly handed tea to his adviser. As she poured his cup, her eyes darted to him a couple times; the green, vibrant orbs carried a sense of pride. “ Giles …Lord Giles (she added this quickly)….crying wolf worked twice for the boy.” As she said this, she rose from her posture and neared the elder vampire swiftly; her boat would echo a noise similar to heels. She offered him the cup.
