After Alexandre had finished sending the letter off with the blood servant, he beelined his way towards where the Patriarch was - the drawing room. He made no effort to hide himself, and his presence was announced by the sound of his bronze buckles rattling against the leather of his coat, the sound of his scabbard rapping against his hip every so often, and his leather shoes grinding into the floors with each stride as he stepped in. His appearance was not a surprise, as it was extremely rare that the Patriarch would be awake and busy and his guard were not there like a loyal hound. Alexandre accepted these notions as he moved to stay behind the couch his master sat upon, crossing his arms behind his back and acting little more than a statue. He waited for a pause in the conversation before offering his own bit of information: "I sent one of the servants to the RBUC headquarters containing the seal for Dolf's release, along with our seal of approval to prove its legitimacy. He should be released presently." He said before turning silent once more. Over the years, Alexandre had become quite well-versed in political and court intrigue, but preferred to watch from the sidelines and observe the proceedings and discussion. The court was no place for a Royal Protector - his job was to guard the Patriarch and remain silent, speaking only when information was necessary or when he was directly spoken to. And he had done that job well for the last few centuries; he wasn't going to allow some rebellious bitch ruin his reputation, his years of service.
